Karthik is a PhD student at Cornell University studying computational biology, co-advised by Kushal Dey and Thomas Norman. Karthik completed his bachelor's degrees in data science and biology at University of California, San Diego. As an undergraduate, Karthik developed statistical methods for analyzing CRISPR-based genome perturbation data with Graham McVicker. For fun, Karthik enjoys watching sports (tennis,football,basketball), playing the guitar, and running.
