It seems it's quite the challenge to update from 3.5.0 to 3.6.0 |

Honestly, I'm not so sure it's worth it. It would be faster to gradually move to a better maintained setup, like Vitest or Jest, because even if jasmine was updated, karma would still be deprecated and need replacement. |

Reducing the diff in #7117 . Last 3.x is from 2022, the current is form 2019.
