PlotEmbedd could give more user friendly errors to allow users to recover

A common use of PlotEmbed is to plot different genes or metadata fields on top of the embedding, however, when values provided are not available (genes, metadata categories, etc), the error is quite cryptic. We should be able to do some initial checks to detect what could be the issue and report it more clearly.
