@stefanbuck this package moved to es modules so we'll need to start using babel if we want to update to the latest version.

or we update to node.js 14 now that this verison is available on vercel https://vercel.com/changelog/node-js-14-lts-is-now-available. Let me open another PR for this and see if everything is still working with node.js 14.

@stefanbuck doesn't node default to commonjs importing unless you use .mjs extensions on your files or use a cli parameter to enable it? My projects all use TypeScript so I haven't really had to deal with this, but I thought the only way to use es6 modules natively was with one of those methods.
