Compact ways to visualize task logic - online visualization with trainers and maybe also useful for talks?

As we mentioned before, this will likely be on hold until the bonsai visualizers update. Off-line visualizers should be discussed in the analysis repository

Wish list:

  • Make velocity threshold bigger
  • Show current threshold (when it changes during session)

Collection of requests from Travis, Olivia and Katrina:

  • Labels on all the graphs bigger (also mentioned above).
  • Display name of the animal, stage of training (could be the name of the task logic file) and trainer (needs to be included in the launcher).
  • Upgrade on the graph to display more information. Maybe something that looks like this:
    image
This would basically collapse the 4 graphs that we have in one, thus saving space and allowing us to make everything larger.
  • Table summary of settings for the current task: # of odors, reward mapping to each (probability, amount, etc).
  • Decrease the number of items to be inputted in the launcher. Maybe reduce to only animal and experimenter and predefine the others (bonsai layout, rig schema, remove notes in the launcher)?
  • Summary after the session ends: total water, water per patch, engagement metrics (TBD), etc. This could be a script that is triggered when pressing end session?
  • Stop suggestion: Counting time since the last time the animal stopped successfully (not water, just correct stop).

Clearly labeled lickspout movement - includes box names and directions in words (ie. forward/back, up/down, left/right from mouse's perspective)
