Hello,
I have reated distruct plots using the --popfile option. However, the samples are not sorted as specified in popfile but alphabetically. Is there any chance to control the order of samples in distruct plots?
Related to this: is there any possibility to extract the order of samples in distruct plots created without the --popfile information?
Best,

As far as the results I generated, populations specified in --popfile are randomly ordered in the distruct plots.
Have you received any kind of response since this thread has no reactions?
@ARW-UBT there is a modified version of the original distruct.py called distructv2, available through https://github.com/hrk2109/distruct2
It has the --poporder argument which seems to fulfil your wishes to control the order of samples/populations.
