Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

I got the following error in my testsuite. There is probalby more.

Error: Call to protected method Doctrine\DBAL\Connection::connect() from scope Liip\TestFixturesBundle\Services\DatabaseTools\ORMDatabaseTool

I started a PR

I faced the same issue and at this point had to revert to 2.6. Appreciate if your PR gets merged soon 🙏
