[bug]: macOS desktop application: CPU spikes when switching applications #11032

Steps to reproduce:

custom server endpoint configured
Active Apps restricted to Word and Mail
CPU spikes (~ 10%) when switching applications

Possible cause: LanguageTool inefficiently determines whether it should become active within the foreground application
