The group investigates computational aspects of knowledge-rich approaches to machine learning, with a focus on techniques that combine logic and probabilistic reasoning.
The group is related to the <a href="https://liamf.ime.usp.br">Laboratory of Formal Methods and Artificial Intelligence (LIAMF)</a> of the <a href="https://www.ime.usp.br">Institute of Mathematics and Statistics</a>, and
