DispatchDomainEvents vs SaveChange

Hi, from this code:

public override async Task<int> SaveChangesAsync(CancellationToken cancellationToken = default)
{
    await _mediator.DispatchDomainEvents(this);
    return await base.SaveChangesAsync(cancellationToken);
}

I have a question, what will happend if events are dispatched but SaveChanges has exception, do we need something like 'rollback'
