Sync with Health App

This device tracks steps and heart rate, which is nice to know from day to day, but is there any way for this data to be exported to my phone for tracking with the Health app on my iPhone? Also, how are you tracking heart rate?

thanks for your suggestion. The integration depends on the app. If the developer supplies some sort of an interface then we can add an integration for it. But we don´t ask for it currently.

Heart rate is currently dropped because of the complexity of both software and hardware to make it work reliable. But we are aware of this topic and we collect ideas of how to implement it in a good way.

Can you guys figure out a way to trick an iPhone into thinking that this watch is an Apple Watch so that it can send health data?
Also I've seen several integrated pulse oximeter and heart rate sensors. In particular I would recommend a pairing of the MAX30101(sensor) & MAX32664(interpreter)
Ignore Italicized, the chip in this watch doesn't have WiFi and therefore will not be able to pretend to be an Apple Watch

many thanks for your suggestion. We discussed this idea yesterday and also some options to mount the heart rate sensor properly. Currently, we have a minimum distance between the skin and PCB of around 3.5 mm because of the dock connector. But we are confident that we found a proper solution to handle it.

We both like this idea with the sensor hub and the fact that the sensor hub can work together with our existing Acc is also great. We also find a good way to handle double-sided assembled PCBs which we currently try to avoid to simplify the manual assembly. With this background thoughts, we will try it out :)
