Connecting to devices with advertising intervals in the two to three second range takes a very long time, many tens of seconds, if it works at all in Windows and Linux. Smartphones seem to be able to connect to these devices much more quickly, a few seconds. There must be some way to speed up the connection interval during connections to devices with long advertising intervals? Does anyone know what that is, or what smart phones are doing to speed up the connection process to peripherals with long advertising intervals? I'm not coming up with much searching for what might be going on. Thank you.
