Übersicht doesn't prompt for calendar permission in Sonoma #518
Comments
Just upgraded to Sonoma and am seeing this too. FWIW, I tried manually running the icalbuddy command from a terminal, but that only permits access from iTerm (i.e., Sonoma is seeing iTerm as the calling app, not icalbuddy), so it didn't make a difference for the widget. |
Solved! I checked System Settings → Privacy & Security → Calendars: Übersicht was checked, but was only granted "Add Only Access". Changing that to "Full Access" and reloading the widget caused it to start working again. |

After the recent macOS 14.4 update, Ubersichet asked me for calendar access. No idea what changed, but icalbuddy in ubersicht is working for me now. |
After a clean install of übersicht and
ical-buddy
(from homebrew), when running anical-buddy
widget, übersicht doesn't prompt for calendar access and hence the widget throws a "No calendars" error.Sonoma 14.1.2
