Steps To Reproduce

  1. Go to Bitwarden Extension (on Brave)
  2. Enter Email Adress, Self Hosted (with the correct HTTPS, Login with master password
  3. Error: Cannot read properties of null (reading 'validateKdfConfigForPrelogin')

Bitwarden

Expected Result

Being able to use the extension on a self hosted vestion of Bitwarden

Actual Result

Impossible to log in via the extension

Additional Context

Self hosted vesion of Bitwarden works well and can be accessed via the server URL (https)
Two-step login is activated

  • Docker running on Synology NAS

Issue Tracking Info

  • I understand that work is tracked outside of Github. A PR will be linked to this issue should one be opened to address it, but Bitwarden doesn't use fields like "assigned", "milestone", or "project" to track progress.

When configuring the self hosted environment are you placing the URL that works for your web vault into the Server Address section or somewhere else? And are you using Bitwarden unified or the standard installation?
