There's a problem with our recent changes for libxml2 2.10 compatibility (in #102). Looks like some tests are now failing with libxml2 2.9, and that's a problem for Debian, because they reverted to libxml2 2.9. To support current Debian, we need to support both libxml2 2.10 and 2.9, for both functionality and test suite.
