Env subject state not restored on workflow relaunch

When there is an "active subject" in the social workflow gui, and the workflow process is stopped, and then relaunched, it's assumed that this state of the subject should be recovered, but I've found after recent changes that I am always having to manually re-add the subject.

This makes me think we should really go back on the idea of having self-deleting state recovery and simply run explicitly the clear state recovery script until we have a more clear long-term solution for state recovery.

Couldn't recreate this issue - will reopen if it happens again and I can recreate it

Recreated this - it occurs after computer restart, even though rest of recovery states (e.g. env) is seemingly restored.

@jkbhagatio just to confirm, is this restricted to the active subjects list? Or have you ever noticed this with other parameters as well?

@glopesdev So far I've only noticed this with active subjects, though it is possible it's happening with other parameters as well
