Merged report total running time

When you merge a report, the 'Total Time' at the top is a combination of all the reports that were merged, is this by design?
I would like to perhaps see a flag that will show an average of all the reports, or just the execution time of each report.

Since my shards are running in parallel, it makes no sense to show the total running time of all of them to me.
Would such flag be possible?
