They should update the cells in which they're called once the App is published (e.g. WebAppUrl needed for GTM variable of same name)

Only relevant when copying the Apps Script to a new sheet - triggers assigned via Script Editor UI are not persistent in copies of the bound Sheet, though the script itself is.
