I assigned Komachi for this since we'll need the proprietary Nvidia driver to make Nvidia people work, there's also hints of Nvidia contributing upstream via nouveau so we can ditch the ebuild when we see nouveau being ready.

I can try to make a build of Maru with Ubuntu's nouveau driver. Maybe works.

AFAIK nouveau in Gentoo repos are upstream, might be wrong @akatsukilevi?

Ik it is, but will use the Ubuntu one since ubuntu is the most compatible one(so far never got trouble with Ubuntu and Nvidia)
But will try the Gentoo one too

Isn't using the Nvidia Proprietary driver on chromiumOS impossible since it doesn't use X11?

@DiogoSilva48 that's what I was afraid of, though Nvidia promised to support the open source driver development this year in their recent announcement back at 2019, though we're not sure of how committed they are for that.
