Currently each instance of the laser control GUI handles one laser. When connecting to ScanImage we connect to just one laser and we assume that if this is being controlled with an AOM, it is beam 1 in the GUI. This is important because of tweak mode (see the aom view class). There is no option right now for multiple AOM beams in ScanImage.
